Providing our services/products

To provide our services and/or deliver products, we process personal data from our customers. We do this based on the agreement we have entered into with you.

  • Information regarding your order;
  • Copy of identification (in case of leasing).

This data is retained for 7 years due to our fiscal retention obligation.

Working at Komoder

Application

If you have applied for one of our vacancies or submitted an open application, we process your personal data in order to handle your application and to prepare for the potential conclusion of an employment contract.

For this, we process the following personal data:

  • Email address;
  • Address details;
  • Contact information (email and phone number);
  • Curriculum vitae (CV);
  • Cover letter;
  • Passport photo;
  • Salary expectation;
  • References;
  • Any other information you send along with your application.

Regarding your CV, we advise against including more information than necessary. We strongly recommend that you do not include the following (sensitive) personal data in your CV:

  • Religion or belief;
  • Race or ethnic origin;
  • Criminal records;
  • Political views;
  • Health information;
  • Sexual orientation;
  • Membership of a trade union or political party;
  • BSN (Dutch social security number) and bank account number;

We will retain your application data for up to 4 weeks after the position has been filled. We keep this data so we can contact you if the position becomes available again within the probation period. If we cannot offer you a position at this time, we may, with your consent, retain the application data for an additional year. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an email. If you are hired, we will store your application data in your personnel file. This file will be kept as long as necessary, and the application data will be retained for up to 2 years after your employment starts.

A social media and internet search may be part of the application process. This is necessary to ensure that our image is maintained when hiring new personnel. We do this based on our legitimate interest. We search for your name via Google and any profiles you may have on various social media platforms. This is done only for profiles that are public; we will not ask you to grant us access to a private social media page or connect with us. The results of the search will be discussed with you. If you object to this, you can inform us when you apply.

Sharing of Personal Data

In principle, Komoder will not provide personal data to other parties. However, Komoder may share personal data in the following cases:

  • If Komoder is required by law to provide personal data to competent authorities, such as regulators or other public authorities; or
